What is a "Featured Artist"?

An artist (or company) that we consider to be outstanding or unique among their peers. 

How do we select a "Featured Artist"?

The Rustic Directories™ are "human-edited" indices, not an automated robot or spider project (i.e. search engines).  We personally visit every site that is included in our database. 

We use a highly sophisticated and scientific metric to zero-in on our featured artists.  In other words, we are totally subjective.  When we stumble upon an artist and we think their story is interesting... we add them to our list :-)
